Upload and Delete Models

The following article explains how to Upload or Delete Models in VDC COLLABORATION App.

Steps to Follow:

  • Click on the VDC COLLABORATION Icon on the side bar.

    Select the Model Manager Module.

  • To Upload a 3D Model:

    • Click on Import Models button.

    • Drag and drop or click on the upload button to upload your files.

    • The list of files to be uploaded will be visible and you can click on the cross "X" button to cancel any of the files.

    • Click on the Import button to upload and convert your files.

    • The processing tab will then show the list of files being converted to a format that can be displayed in the viewer.

    • Inside the Model Manager, the Status tab shows status of the conversion. If the file has a valid structure, The green status Converted will be shown. Otherwise, a red Error status will be displayed.

  • To Delete a 3D Model in VDC COLLABORATION App:

    • On the Model Manager screen, click on the kebab (⋮) menu next to your 3D model and click on the "Delete" button.

    • A success toast message indicates that the model has been successfully deleted.
